Safely Landed

February 6, 2013 by tvo320

After an initially bumpy flight where I ended up sleeping thirteen out of fourteen hours, I’ve made it to Brisbane, Australia! I couldn’t be happier to move around freely. Right as I de-boarded the plane and walked into the airport, my Rotary host counselor Alan, his wife Sandy, and fellow Rotarian Shaughn were all there to greet me with a lovely sign! πŸ™‚ They welcomed me with hugs and kisses and then we went for a cup of tea.

We mapped out the next few days with me and I am excited to discover Brisbane. Alan and Sandy took me through several suburbs such as Breckenridge and Bald Hills and have already taught me some Stralin’ slang. Cheese and kisses = The Mrs. πŸ™‚ Cute or what?

So much to share already but I must get some rest first. Hope that you’re having a fantastic day!
